(Game Guide) Ragnarok Blue Plant Farming

Foreword

I created this farming guide to help starting players earn some zeny in Ragnarok Online. I know that it is very hard to begin playing Ragnarok when you start with nothing and I hope that this guide can help starting players on their journey to become the server's best. Even though this guide cannot necessarily help you on getting those godly equips that you've been craving, this guide can still help on providing you with your in-game necessities.


What are Blue Plants?

Monster Name: Blue Plant
HP: 10
Race: Plant
Behavior: Immobile

Blue Plants are a great source of income for starting players because anyone can hunt them. Blue Plants are immobile which means that they don't fight back when attacked. Blue Plants also take only 1 damage regardless of your level or attack rating. This only mean that you need to hit it 10 times before it dies. It's not really a big problem if you are using a character that has high attack speed.


What can we get from Blue Plants?

Item Name: Blue Herb
Drop Rate: 55%

Blue Herbs are needed for making Blue Potions which is a basic necessity in Ragnarok because it restores SP. 

Item Name: Grape
Drop Rate: 10%

Grapes, together with an empty bottle can be turned into Grape Juice.

Item Name: Shoot
Drop Rate: 10%

Shoots are the food of Deviruchi pets so expect your primary market for these to be people who own Deviruchis.

Item Name: Stem
Drop Rate: 5%

Stems are sought after by Alchemists, Biochemists, and Genetics because it is a material for creating alcohol.

Item Name: Mastela Fruit
Drop Rate: 0.5%

Mastela Fruits are recovery items that are famous during sieges. It recovers a great amount of HP.

Item Name: Romantic Leaf
Drop Rate: 0.03%

Romantic Leaf is a head gear that reduces damage from plant type monsters by 3%.





What Character should I use?

You can use any kind of character as long as it has high attack speed. My preferred character when hunting Blue Plants though are Gank Rogues.

Gank Rogues have high attack speed and has the skill called Gank. Basically, the Gank skill enables you to auto steal from a monster thus giving you more loots per kill.


Where can I farm Blue Plants?

The best spot for farming Blue Plants is at Geffen Field 2. I encircled the spot where there are 4 Blue Plants growing. You can camp there for a day and sell the loots when you get tired. 
Geffen Field 2 is exactly 2 maps west from Prontera City. The aggressive monsters that thrive there are Elder Willows so better be alert.
