Title: Loosies
Year: 2012
Genre: Comedy, Drama, Romance
Director: Michael Corrente

Loosies is a 2012 film written by Peter Facinelli and directed by Michael Corrente. The film is about a young pick pocket living in New York.

Bobby is a young man who pick pockets in order to pay off the debt left to him when his father died. Everything is doing well until he was confronted by a woman who he slept with 3 months ago, Lucy. Lucy told Bobby that she is pregnant with his child and from there on Bobby's life went downward spiral. His mom left him for another man, the cops were tracking him down, and the guy who he works for sold him out to the cops. Bobby must now find a way to regain his life back if he wants to live normally with Lucy and with their unborn child.

The film is set on modern day New York and has some kind of an illegal feel to it. It's an action movie, though it stays away from the usual kick ass stuff that most action films show.

Loosies is pretty straightforward. It is very easy to understand while still providing you with some witty scenes at the same time.

The person behind Loosies is Peter Facinelli who plays Carlisle Cullen on the Twilight saga. I was also bedazzled with Jaimie Alexander, the girl who plays Lucy. She is just so beautiful. You'll see some great actors in the film such as Joe Pantoliano, Michael Madsen, and William Forsythe. It's nice to see these amazing people once again after not seeing them for awhile.

Overall, the movie is fine. Though it isn't something that I'll watch again because there is no reason to. Even if you are someone who keeps on watching the same movie again and again until you understand it thoroughly, I assure you that watching the movie once will be enough to understand the whole story.

If you are looking for great movies to watch during the weekend and you plan to watch Loosies then I suggest that you look for another one. There are many more movies out there that are better than Loosies. The film doesn't necessarily belong to those so called "great selections" but it'll work if you're only looking for something smooth.

5/10
